Neville Muller This doesn't count as shapewear. The band is tight but the garment itself isn't. I bloat really bad cyclically from my endometriosis and there was no difference whatsoever in circumference on wearing this vs not wearing it. I got the "large" and the band is tight on my 30" waist so i think going down to medium may have helped with the bulk from bloating but been painful on my waist. If you just want brief-style undies made of nylon you'll enjoy.
